Bath Salts - make your own

Either for yourself or that perfectly simple handmade gift - for young or old. Making at childrens birthdays, gifts for your bookclub mates, or your favourite aunts. Maybe they will be looking forward to your gift every year.

A few suggestions:

  • You can add flowers/botanicals to the mix before bottling and then tie a sprig with jute around the lid. Think lavender or rosemary to keep it easy and accessible.

  • collect your kitchen jars, or ikea does have inexpensive jars that can be reused.

  • keep scents simple - try citrus and pine scents for an uplifting blend; and floral scents for the soothing relaxing bathing experience. Create your own blends.

  • attach tag with well wishes and instruction for use
