Seeded Bread
A high protein omega filled bread - simple to make and full of goodness
Ingredients
1 cup hemp seed (ground in blender/food processor)
1 cup of flexseeds (ground in blender/food processor)
1 cup of sunflower seeds (ground in blender/food processor)
1/2 cup arrowroot, tapioca
1 Tbsp flaxseed for sprinkling on top
2 Tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp bicarb soda
3 Tbs olive oil
6 small eggs
2 tsp salt
Directions
preheat oven to 180 deg C
line medium sized loaf tin with baking paper
add wet ingredients in medium bowl and mix well. add dry ingredients and mix thoroughly until well combined
tip mixture into lined tin, sprinkle with extra seeds and place in oven
bake for one hour - top will brown nicely
remove from tin and enjoy hot
can also pre-slice and freeze
notes: monitor cooking time, can be oven dependent, make sure a skewer comes out clean
